Returned Thursday from a 10,000 mile drive to Alaska and back to Alabama with the old Keystone I bought from All Terrain Campers. We used the Alaska Marine Highway going up. We drove off the ferries at Ketchikan, Wrangle, and Juneau for a day and a half in each port, then on to Whittier. We came back home via the Alaska Highway, Jasper, Banff, Glacier, Yellowstone, Tetons, North Rim, Great Basin, and others. We had a nice visit to Denali. The trip took 6 weeks.

No doubt about it, All Terrain did a great job rebuilding the Colorado Keystone. Plus, the old boy who designed the original Keystone knew exactly what he was doing. Where is he? This is one heck of a camper.

We enjoyed some FWC/ATC camper spotting along the way and got a few pictures.

Others with Alaska trips this season? Lets discuss.

John D.

When I saw your mondo bitsabeemer sidecar rig Chris, it came to me who you were. I met you at the Last Frontier BMW rally in AK and over the years was a customer of yours. In fact I asked you once about buying your hackmobile and passed it up.
I remember you came blasting into the rally all wrung out from your run to the Arctic ocean and seeing your rig was the catylist for me to get one...I was riding an '89 R100GS at the time. I now run an '83 standard Goldwing with Ural chair and have a pair of matching '99 f650s with my wife.
Good to know you are out there traveling and looking at FWC/ATCs.
Take care and get that website finished so we can check you out.
Cheers,
Brian

John,

Sounds like a great trip. Hope to see some pics when you get a chance. If you want to talk to the original designer of the Keystone, call Tiger Motor Homes and leave a meassage for Dave the owner.

Now that your back, are you ready for the new curtain set??
