You still do not want to venture south of Guerro Negro if you must use ULSD.

Good read here.   Be sure to read Ted White's articles and updates.  Email Ted for the latest info on ULSD in Baja CA Sur.

I've left the Super Duty at Mike's Sky Ranch and rode the motorcycle throughout Baja CA Sur.  The Super Duty is in the Sentri program and I carry my KTM 350 in a hitch carrier.

After Mike's, take Mex 3 back out to MEX 5 down through San Felipe to Coco's and over to MEX 1.  Spectacular beach camping opportunities along the stretch to Coco's.  Road construction still ongoing past Coco's.  Big, sharp rocks and lots of very rough stretches.  Go SLOW!  Blast south on MEX 1 to your hearts content.  Back up MEX 1 to the western terminus of MEX 3;  head east on 3 back to Mike's.  Makes for a long enjoyable trip!

Best not to plan too much and just travel and enjoy what you discover.  When its time to head home, just turn around and head north.
