Our rig El Grande Rojo went through six countries in four months. We are still going to be traveling through Costa Rica and Panama.

If you are interested check out our blog. Click on the months on the right side of the page to see our previous posts. Mainland Mexico including the Yucatan Pennisula, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua.

There are tons of pictures on the blog

I love our four wheel camper. Although we need to tarp our old rig from water it has withheld all the storms we hit from the Yucatan Hurricane a couple months ago.

Angelina and Dorian...Great to hear that you are having a good trip. Thanks for the blog link and sharing all the great pictures.
My wife and I spent last winter in Mexico, Belize and Guatemala with our FWC and had a blast. You are bringing back some awesome memories!

Jim and Brian,

Thanks for your support guys. We had a mind changing experience driving here. I don't ever want to live in the states again.

So cool Brian that you traveled through Mexico and some of Central America.
Did you visit any Maya Pyramids? So amazing. Check out our post on Agua Clara, Mexico. It was so beautiful there. The most incredible fresh water river.

Pura Vida,
Angelina, Dorian and Ivy Smiley

Angelina...nope, will have to see Agua Clara next time. We did most of the larger ruins on the Ruta Maya and put a link to some photos in this section under Ruta Maya...not so many good ones as you have however. I have to blame myself for setting down and walking away from my digicam at Palenque and it, of course, found a new home. We were there only three months and had to head home to relieve our house/dog sitter.

Did you go to Sempuc Champey and Gruta Lanquin in Guatemala? There is a picture of Kit swimming in it...It almost looks as though it is lit from below! Amazing.

We are looking forward to another trip down that way spending more time in Belize and then from Honduras south to Panama.

Have fun...Pura Vida...

We did not make it to Sempuc Champey or Gruta Lanquin in Guatemala. We are definately going back there within the year. I love Guatemala!

We have been in Nicaragua for two months now. Dorian is working here. We are going to Costa Rica to live for the dry season in a week.
