Since WtW attracts natural historians, I thought it might be appropriate to mention this opportunity to do useful armchair citizen science that may benefit our knowledge of the environment.


Notes From Nature


I've been aware of Zooniverse since they started using Sloan Digital Sky Survey images for a citizen science galaxy classification project (Galaxy Zoo). That project resulted in some good journal papers and a discovery or two. They have since branched out to other disciplines. Look at the bottom of the page to see Zooniverse's other projects.
