I'd probably find some straps that I could tighten around the pipes, and somehow mount to the truck. Maybe throw some VHB tape in the mix. Depends on how easily or often you want to disassemble.
Actually, looking at his last pic, you can see straps or pipe clamps wrapped around the pipes and bolted/screwed (somehow attached) to the bottom of the camper overhang.
