Anyone out there in the CO/NM/AZ/UT area interested in putting together a group by on some flip pacs.  Here is the thought - if we can get enough 3 or so orders in we should be able to get better pricing (they said they would consider it on the phone).  Then we all go in and split the shipping costs to a common location and arrange for pickup.  Or we could split a trailer and load em on and bring em back if someone has the means.  I want to go to Flip Pac the manufacturer directly in CA for the order (not a local distributor).  I am guessing we can find a shipper that will load up a whole car trailer load if we can get enough interest.  Each individual will have to pay the manufacturer directly.  This should give them enough of an order to set up the dies.  

 

I want one for a Tacoma.

I'm interested...are you still interested? Here are the questions I would have before moving forward. 1) I've heard the company is REALLY hard to deal with, slow to respond, slow to build, and almost impossible when it comes to replacing broken parts. How assured are you that they would come through? 2) How much of a savings would it be? 3) If we had them all shipped together to a common place, how would the install work? I also have a Tacoma. I would like to order within the next month so I have it ready for summer 2015 camping. Your thoughts?
