As I'm old enough, unplugged enough and frankly eccentric enough that social media is something I generally do without, thus the following.

I wish you well in the selling of your VZuk and your forth coming travels.  May the road always rise to meet you.

I agree to sell is best.  In the late 90's my wife and I spent a year on the road in a home made poptop camper.  Went to AK all over Canada, baja etc.  I stored my Suzuki GS850 in a garage and it suffered for it.  You can always replace the Bike when you are ready. In terms of having motorized 2 wheel backup on your trip I'd consider a Golden Eagle Bike Engine.

Inexpensive, Honda reliability, easy to carry, no registration, go 20-25 MPH, (what's the hurry?).  Have a great trip, you won't regret it.

Its got great range, not too heavy. Top speed isn't enough to make a run into town though. Its different. Tempting just because of that. I wonder how quiet they are.

Motoped is very cool, I actually saw one of these outside of Moab in October but didn't know what it was.  Pretty expensive ($2500+) and heavy though, 100 lb plus. I like the GEBE because it is only $650 plus adds less than 20 lbs to a bike.

I just got my first moto. A Yamaha TW200. The T-Dub. So far I love it. But yeah, sell the current two wheel set up.

I have been thinking about selling my XR 250L and replacing it with a TW 200.
