RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Could Someone Give me Advice for a First Time Camper Exploring the Western U.S?

I agree with everything Wandering Sagebrush wrote. Excellent advice. We just returned from a three week, plus a few days, trip to many of the areas you are interested in. Our experience was to expect crowds in the national parks, though oddly, if you drive 10 miles or so from the most popular...

Foy It may amuse you to know that street dance was, in the 1970's, known as the Stanley Stomp and primarily happened in the Stanley Rod and Gun Club, which was a wild bar that we deer hunters, geologists and other ne'er do well's and such would congregate at (80 to 90% males). While listening to...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Phone photos

Vic If this is Madagascar, we called them the pinnacled limestone. A band miles and miles long, eroded by deep vertical narrow gorges and millions of very sharp upward projecting knife like serrated edges. We accessed the tops by helicopter, which seemed the only means possible...

If only there was some way to effectively get rid of cheat grass. The new burn area is likely to be overwhelmed by cheat grass and other invasives if native species seed is not scattered in abundance over the recent burns before next spring. A major undertaking. BLM could do it, but they need a...
