The guy here in Truckee who is selling the Grandby/Lance, current price $10,900, is also selling a repaired '03 Grandby for $6,900. Here's the link.

I would be very leary about buying one of those !

Take a good hard look first, and if you like what you see, then maybe have them bring it to the FWC factory for an pre-buyers inspection, or something like that.

I believe those are both "salvaged" campers.

I have word that the 97' had fire damage and the 03' was launched off a truck onto the freeway (unknow damage).

It looks like he does good repair work, so I don't want to rain on his parade.

They might be excellent campers if repaired right.

Check them out and make the call yourself.

The old one was on ebay, that's when it came to our attention here. One of our members posted a link to the auction which expired without a sale at $14,900 I believe it was. Interesting that it's down to about 11 grand and still isn't selling. I'm with you on the repairs, I wouldn't really trust it unless I did the work myself.
