2024 Tacoma with FWC?

That’s a whole lotta lift you got there UR. My setup is very similar. I’m having second thoughts about these Timbrens. My camper is on the truck pretty much full time. I don’t mind the back being slightly higher than the front when it’s loaded but man oh man.

I’ve searched for the 4G Dobinsons thread but can’t seem to find it.

This company looks good Coil Springs | Coil Spring Specialties
You give them your unloaded weight (5k lbs for me) and your loaded weight and they will build you custom coil springs.

Sounds like you got it sorted out with the leaf springs. I have been told the coil springs could soften some and after talking to Dobinsons a couple different times and Phillip at Dirtslayer in Idaho Falls who installed, decided to go with the heavier duty springs given my weight. This is with an empty load in camper. So far my measurements have stayed exactly the same since install a month ago. Cost to install was very reasonable and spring price of $270. This is an easy install and took 45 minutes. Happy exploring to you and appreciate the tip on leveling!

How have you that have mounted a FWC on a 2024/2025 Tacoma connected the power to the truck? I recently bought a 25 Tacoma TRD offroad and mounted a 2018 Fleet. I upgrade the springs with Dobinsons. The camper came with a power plug to just plug it in to the trailer hitch. A couple of FWC Installers have told me they don't like that setup and that I should use their wiring connection kit to the car battery instead. I have the kit since I had to buy it to get the mounting bars for the truck, but I don't know if it's really necessary. I can't figure out how much power the camper draws and if the wiring in the truck to the trailer plug can safely handle it. Any advice would be appreciated.

It depends. If your camper has enough solar, then you might not even need to get power from the truck. Tell us a bit more about your Fleet and how you use it. The stock "trailer" wiring is woefully undersized for most of us on this forum.

I will mostly be a weekend warrior with the rig for the next few years with some week long trips. The fleet has about 160w of solar and one deep cycle battery.

Mine was done by FWC dealer in Bozeman when they installed the camper. You might contact a FWC dealer or customer service for more specifics on how this is done. Good luck.

Just got my four wheel installed on my 4th gen. If anyone has any idea how to be able to remove the tailgate without system malfunction errors I’m all ears.
