500 Miles along the Redwood Coast

Love that whole zone! My stomping grounds if you will. Both Big River and Albion offer beautiful paddles up stream. You plan the tides and get pushed up, slack, then pulled back out to the ocean. Great fishing/crabbing at Albion mouth. Noyo is a great paddle as well. Good call on the off season mission!

Thanks for the beautiful drive.
The few times we spent in the Mattole are was camping in the county CG near Petrolia.
When we were there the general store was still going ,but that was 40 years ago.

The general store is still there, same with the store in Honeydew, except, sadly they are replacing the old green trussed bridge in Honeydew with a new bridge. There's also a newer store a mile west from Honeydew as well. One of my favorite places on terra firma no doubt!
