Wired, wireless, models?? I'm interested in first hand experiences with these. I have problems twisting around to see (back surgery in the past) and thought one of these might be helpful. I've got a Tacoma if there are any vehicle specific recommendations or issues.
I just started playing with a wireless/ wired system. After trying it both ways I am going to drill holes in my bran new truck cab so that I can go with wired. It is much better. Very easy to hook up but takes sometime (for me) to decide how to take the plunge and drill holes, cut wires etc..
One surprise I picked a screen size that would fit on my dash but the trim around the screen makes it too big so I am placing it in the center consul and losing two cup holders.
Also I am going to power it all from the lighter socket so it can be on all the time but easily turned off if not wanted. Should help with turnpike driving to know who is back there and how close.
After driving around for a day - I would not want to be without it. But it is best to watch the road in front rather than that behind, the latter tends to make you dizzy. I have begun to learn where the off button is.
Old necks don't twist. If you are old enough for a camper you are old enough for a camera.
