All Terrain Campers (dealer postings ?)

Hi NCF,

Just my 2 cents as well as my first post....

I've read many posts by Marty of All Terrain Campers and he is a great help here and a wealth of information. Marty, having originally been with 4W Camper, seems to know all the ins & outs of these campers. Their camper is very similar to 4WC.

All Terrain Campers doesn't muddy up the forum with multiple ads pushing their campers, but rather just lets the forum know what is available occassionally.

This forum benefits greatly from Marty's and the other guy/ATC owner (sorry I don't recall the owner's name). I've never once read where Marty disparages 4WC and to me that shows a lot of class.

Any commercialism posted here by ATC is vastly outweighed by their technical input. I'd hate to see Marty stop posting here.

I'm sure that technical postings from a representative from Fourwheel Campers would be most welcome here as well. Unfortunately that has yet to happen.

Well, I hope I didn't put my foot in my mouth with my first post.

Happy Camping!!!

This is the reason.

Before I ran this site, I owned a very large forum. On that site, self promotion was not allowed. However, this is a very small group and the guys at ATC really help out so it's not an issue.

After reading your two threads, I am wondering why you are singling out ATC for criticism? I like my FWC too, but competition is good and I wish the guys at ATC success in their venture.

I totally agree with all of the above. Both Ben & Marty have been very helpful to me and others. Their presence here is beneficial to us all.

Good info from Marty and ATC.
He is not selling me anything but helping out with information.
They stay.

All Terrain....Ben and Marty, et al

Am grateful for the All Terrain people's input and laud them for it. Too, as former owners of Four Wheel, they have invaluable advice for four wheel clientele AND the opportunity to significantly improve upon their former product with a new and better one. Thanks.......

Don't worry about putting your foot in your mouth. If I had a nickle for every time I did that I could buy ten new campers! Your observations on the ATC are spot on. I had a FWC with the out side storm flaps and they are a PITA. I do like the canvas that ATC is using. Older style but much thicker than the new type used by FWC.
This may seem odd to some , but I like to have a dark interior option during the day. Good for power naps.
