All,
Does anyone have an AM FM 12 volt radio mounted in their camper? If you do, what type/length of antenna is it? Sectional or whip? Where is it mounted? How is it mounted/attached? If you were to change it, where would you put it?

Thanks,
Ward

Yes I have a radio in mine. I have an internal ant (in cabinet area). It is just a piece of ant cable with the insulation stripped off. Works fair but I usually listen to sat radio.

Its mounted above the fridge. Best location for use inside and outside the camper. I also have a wireless remote I can use from bed and through the side window of the camper. If I had to do it again I'd buy a radio with wired 2nd display/control and wireless remote.
I'll post up some pics if you would like.

Thanks for the info and pic. Good out-of-the-way location for the radio. Marty is going to mount an external antenna.
