Well 3 different FWC's and now 3 broken exterior water spigots! Its always the little CS handle that breaks making it a PIA to use. I remember seeing that someone replaced theirs with a brass faucet. I asked Scott and it wasn't him. Kyle is it you? Anyway I've searched all the local outlets here and can't find anything with the correct thread size so a little help please.

Check out this thread, it shows how I fixed mine. It should be a 3/8 npt thread. I used a nipple to drop from the tank and a 90 degree ell, them a ball valve with an adapter and some vinyl hose to direct the flow.

Thanks for your help. When you installed the npt nipple did it cut "new threads" into the tank opening?

I did the exact same thing on our Phoenix, but it seemed a little clunky, so I bought another cheap piece o' crap petcock from the local RV store. I know it will fail, and I have the parts to go back to Plan A. I had to adapt the 3/8 ell to a 1/2" ball valve. The hardware store didn't have a 3/8 ball valve. No problems on the 3/8" threads going into the tank. I took the broken petcock to the hardware store to ensure thread compatibility.
