Another New Guy (Tundra+TC)

Been lurking awhile. Great forum. I retire later this year and plan to Fulltime in the Mountain West in one of the Truck Campers discussed here. FWC or ATC.
Tomorrow, 1/7/07, Toyota unwraps it's new 2007 Tundra in Detroit. Supposed to equal or exceed the big three similar size trucks in towing and payload. Rumors are the payload will be over 2,000 lbs. Should be the perfect truck for me. Maybe no need for airbags.
I've never had a Truck Camper or RV of any kind. Been researching the internet for over 2 1/2 years.

Dusty Congrats on your retirement, I'm doing the exact same thing you are doing I am also waiting for the 07 Tundra, but there are so many options with the pop up camper so far I located 6 campers. Ill be following your post

You found 6 pop up campers. Do you mean 6 different manufacturers?
It seems to me the 2 models on this forum, the FWC and the ATC, are the lightest out there with the lowest profile. That's what appeals to me. Go anywhere-with a Tundra.
Tomorrow afternoon at toyota.com they will list all the new 2007 Tundra models with all the specs. Also they will be webcasting their press conference and intro to the 2007 Tundra at 12:10PM ET. Immediately after this they will list all the new details and have some video of the new models.
