Lookin' at you Monte! Happy belated birthday!

This does remind me of a story from early on in Julie and my marriage. One day Julie came home. I was playing my banjo - I use to be quite good. It was obvious she had had a very hard day, was frazzled and on edge. She burst out, "Can you stop making that noise!"
I understood and said, "Of course," and put the old five string back in its stand.
Later in the evening when things had all quieted down, I asked Julie to sit by me. I explained that I understood when she was frazzled and would do anything she wanted. And do it immediately. But, I asked for an agreement that for the rest of our time together sound coming from my banjo would never again be called noise.

Could have been worse. You could have been playing the accordion.

I really want a two manual harpsichord, but that’s not allowed in the house. Eh… I probably wouldn’t use it that much…

We got a couple of vanities instead of the baroque musical instrument. Now I can't walk due to back pain!

There's no way a harpsichord will ever be in this house, but y'all are welcome in the house any time. We can go in the garage and I'll demonstrate my incredible mouth drumming (aka beatboxing), out of earshot of my delightful wife.

Rubberlegs, the guy in the Homefree acapella group does an awesome job with beatboxing... we both enjoy that a lot. For your spouse to not like it ,are you trying to drum solos at home or what? :cool:

Heya Vic, they look really good. Yes, I do drum solos, often with bass guitar or lead guitar. But only when out hiking solo!
:lalala::drum::rockon:

"The Me's" were well documented in the late 60s and early 70s in my buddy's artwork, but alas, no recordings are available. I kinda messed up his art. Maybe I can photoshop the pen markings out some day, and submit it to the Rolling Stone.
