Anyone tried one of these racks on a FWC?

I haven't. I just purchased Yakima tracks, but I still need to install them. I question how much stress the 2-screw mount can take. It might be fine on a tent trailer that is in the wind shadow of the towing vehicle, but a canoe up on top of a camper could put much more pressure on the mounts.

I was wondering about that as well. Sounds like the materials are pretty good but it's the contact points I was concerned with. Yakima or Thule would probably be best. What's the mounting option you went with for the Yakimas?

The Yakima tracks have holes on 12" centers. They will mount down the length of the roof and should use the existing holes, but I'll replace the screws with something with a low-profile head. This will allow the feet to slide in the track. The tracks are universal; Yakima or Thule feet will work in either track.

There are a number of good threads on this subject in WTW. Here is a link that will show you a track setup. http://yakima.com/shop/rack-systems/permanent-installation/tracks54-w-plusnuts
