My factory mounting points and starting to tear out (more common than I thought) and I'm looking for new ways to anchor the camper, these put the buckles inside the bed which is perfect for my idea of relocating the anchors to the 90° turn where the part over the rails meets the tub.

I have a couple ideas, 1 of which I'm not sure of. Ill be making some brackets that sit in the 90° where the tub meets the horizontal part that goes over the bed rails. I can reinforce that from both sides to prevent this happening again by doing so. Would number 1 even be feasible where the anchor point is centered on the camper and the turnbuckles angled out from there or is #2 which is the standard 4 corner anchor points the only option? I'll be using Apex anchors and quick gun turnbuckles. Please don't clown on my doodles yall. 😆

A single point anchor on each side of the camper seems risky to me.
After some more research I agree. I guess the idea behind the corner anchors is that it pulls in every direction so it can't shift on any axis. With a centered mount it looks like it could shift side to side.

Now I gotta brainstorm what I'm gonna do with this one since there isn't much room to work with. The others are all inside a cabinet and have tons of access. Relocation doesn't appear to be an option due to lack of access from the backside.
For reference it's just an eyelet on the outside

I’m pretty happy with using Tork Lift external frame mounts and tie downs, with Fast Guns. I do use eye bolts that are connected through the bottom hole of the jack mounts. I don’t take the F350 into gnarly tight places, so they aren’t likely to hang up on any obstacles.

That's where things start to get real funky on this camper. The passenger side only has 1 jack mount centered (very odd, I know) and it has eyelets at the corners, while the driver's side has the standard jack bracket on each corner. That's something I'm going to need to address down the road.

What are your thoughts on using the factory tie downs in the corners of the bed? Would they be strong enough? I kinda figure if the steak pockets can do it those rings can as well.

Pretty sure those were not designed to hold 1200 pounds or more, especially if you are in an accident or even driving at speed over an unexpected dip/rise in the road.

The owners manual for my GMC 3500 hd says its cargo tiedowns are limited to 500 lbs tension per corner of the bed (three attachments at different heights in each corner). It says the bed walls will collapse in if the attachments are overloaded. The truck has a fairly thick steel bed. I suspect other trucks have similar limits, and maybe lower limits on aluminum bed trucks.

Knowing the tundra it's probably much lower. I ended up going with tork-lift frame mounts and I'm very satisfied with them.
