Marty or Ben, I was wondering if you could tell me what type of material your Pop Tops where made of? I'm getting some special cleaner and sealant for convertible type tops and was wondering if the top is canvas, Vinyl or a perhaps a mixture of the two. I found a product called "RaggTop" which I think will do the trick. It comes highly recommended from the Convertible Top manufacture industry. Also do you have any special cleaning tips you might have to offer? Thanks for any help you might be able to lend me...Dennis...

side liner

The side liner is a polyester reinforced 16 oz vinyl material. The outside and inside of the liner are vinyl. We have always recommended the 303 vinyl protector for the campers.

If you have found a good protector that protects against UV rays and keeps the vinyl on good shape, it should work. We just haven't tried other products on the tops since the 303 has such a proven track record with us.

To keep the top in good shape, pop it up at least every 2 months when you are storing it and let it air out and dry out. Every 6 months wash the outside of the liner with just soap and water. When it has dried, apply your protector to it. You should only have to do this twice a year and your liner will last you as long as the camper does.

If you would like, give us a call at 800-446-1003 when you get a chance and I can go over this with you.
