My wife and I recently acquired a 2013 Alaskan on a 2013 F350. I'd like to install a backup camera. A lot of the cameras on the market seem to be moving from wired to wireless and magnetic mounts. Has anyone out there installed a rear-view camera on their Alaskan and if so, what feedback or suggestions do you have? As you can see it's a little tight getting into the garage. Thanks in advance.

I installed a Wolfbox 900 series this past summer. Works like a charm and is exceptionally easy to install.

My wife and I recently purchased a new 7 foot cab over model Alaskan and love it. I ended up going with a more commercial grade wired backup camera as the view is phenomenal, and mounted externally up top on the back of the camper. I especially liked how they Customize it with a harness that plugs directly into your existing back up camera on your vehicle, which was a huge simplification and selling point for me. Here’s the info on the one I got:

i put one just above license plate, and it plugged into trucks existing camera harness (the lens of which was in the tailgate). i think it came from camera source also.
