Here is the latest info on Gary and Monika Wescott's end-of-the-year
Baja trips. Quite a few Sportsmobile owners and I'm sure maybe a FWC or two have taken advantage of these tours, which I understand may be coming to an end soon. Gary's first camper was a FOUR WHEEL CAMPER! So....
ADVENTURE MINDED FOUR WHEEL CAMPER OWNERS (4X4 or 2X4)
You've read the rave reviews of our adventures. Now it's time to use
your FWC for what it's made for. Join The Turtle Expedition
on one of our up-coming Baja Backroad Adventure Tours. The trips are
limited to a maximum of 6 vehicles. They are not a typical tour, but
more an adventure and learning immersion experience into the Mexican
culture. We visit remote lobster, clam and oyster camps, and wild
camp in the middle of some of Baja's most spectacular scenery. We
follow backroads sometimes used by the BAJA 1000 Off Road Race.
Finally, we sink into the private hot pools at the Guadalupe Canyon
Hot Springs.
All this and much more awaits you and your FWC. For some
great interesting photos, go to www.turtleexpedition.com, click on
News, then See All News, then Baja Adventure and Baja 2004. There is
also an informative color brochure you can download.
This year¹s Baja dates are:
November 19 to November 17
November 30 to December 8
Cost of the trip will be $800 per vehicle with one or two persons.
Reservations are now being accepted. A deposit of $300 will hold your
place.
To reserve your spot, send a check or money order, (Sorry, we are not
set up for credit cards.), to:
Gary Wescott
The Turtle Expedition, Unltd.
2036 Nevada City Hwy., #205
Grass Valley, CA 95945
To simplify our bookkeeping, please make checks payable to Gary Wescott.
Very Important: Please be sure to indicate the date of the trip on
which you wish to participate, and the type of vehicle you will be
traveling in. At the same time you make your reservation, be sure to
send us an email advising of the same. We may be on the road, and
snail mail can take over a week to reach us. In the event that the
trip is already full, we will advise you as soon as possible. We will
honor postmarks on a first-come basis.
To receive more information, send us an email,
