I have a the Batteryminder 12248 and am using it to keep an Optima Blue Top AGM battery charged in my ATC Bobcat. I would like to keep the Batteryminder in under the dinette seat next to the Optima an run the 120v plug out of the turnbuckle door in when the camper is off the truck and parked in my garage. The manual says to keep the Batteryminder as far away from the battery as allowed and not to use it in an enclosed space both things I'm thinking of doing. Is it ok to keep the Batteryminder under the dinette seat while charging the battery as it's more convenient or is this really unsafe? I don't know if the fact I have an AGM battery that doesn't offgass as much during charging makes a difference or not but I'd appreciate any feedback on this.

Called em and they said no problem since the battery is an AGM.
