Have a 2017 Fleet that is off the truck half the year. Starting to think about all the things that could happen to it while it sits in the driveway (trees falling, etc). Starting to look into insurance. Anything I should consider?

Thanks!

When I first got mine, asked the same question.

LINKY

I added additional insurance from Progressive. Covers replacement cost (camper value of $25K) and addtl gear coverage (pots, pans, sleeping bags, etc)

Only $161 a year.

I have USAA as well, and asked them about coverage while on the truck, but never thought to ask about off the truck and in storage. I’ll have to give them a call today.

I have USAA as well. . . .

Its covered but not much. Off the beaten path, 4 wheeling and punch a hole through the side by a tree branch? Probably not.

Someone slips and falls getting in or out of the camper door? Not covered.

Roof vent left open and water damage to the interior. Probably not covered.

Leave a burner on and catch the thing on fire? Probably not the camper.

Someone break into the camper and steal stuff? Probably not.

That's why I went with supplemental through Progressive. Actual separate RV insurance. Even covers road side assistance.
