We went up to Kennedy Meadows last weekend. I was surprised the camp grounds are already charging so we ended up over at Clarks Fork on the second night as it was still free over there. There was about 2 feet of snow in many spots. Not too good on the fishing as the water is high and fast, but it was super beautiful. The snow looks great in the trees and running down into the water. It looks like it will be a couple of more months before you can get into the back country. My wife can't believe we used to sleep in the back of the camper shell.
The question now is, where do we go this weekend? Either to the coast or up hwy 88. Most of our trips are 3 dayer's, as I still have to work.
