Cleaning Upholstery Cushion Covers

Does anyone have experience with cleaning Four Wheel upholstery cushion covers? We have a 2014 Four Wheel-cushion covers are constructed with fabric uppers and vinyl undersides. I vacuum them after every trip but we are replacing the foam mattress and it seems like it might be a good time to more thoroughly clean/wash the cushion covers. Thanks for any advice.

In my single experience cleaning my 2011-vintage covers: I placed them in the washer on gentle cycle with mild detergent and cold water, air-dried them outside on a warm and dry day, then fluffed them briefly on the cool-air cycle in the dryer. The results were positive, with the caveat: ymmv.
