converting couches to a bed?

This is a stupid question, and I know it, but how in the world do you covert the two couches and the table into a bed?? I have what seems to be a groove where the table looks like it would slide into to create a platform for the cushions but my original table is about 1/2 inch to narrow to fit into those grooves. Am I missing a piece or am I just a dunce?

I don't know about yours but mine the table is not used for making the bed. There is just 4 wood slats that span the distance between seats, I'm not sure if that is the way it is suppose to be but that is how I got mine and it works well.

Yep...4 slats that span..table pins up near ceiling and slide couch seats down and together.

mine didn't have a table so i made one with some 2nd hand pedestals out of an old rv. i use the table and 2 slats for support of bed

In my early 70's 10ft NCO, the table comes down and rests on a lip running each side of the seat bases. Seat cushions flatten out onto it and create the bed.
