Coolers - When You Need Something to Watch

In my off road exploring years I always had a Coleman or Igloo on board. Back then I've never heard of a Yeti. I've been gone as long as two weeks and never had an issue with obtaining and keeping ice on board. On my trips I ate from a can or cup, but did carry bacon or sausage, hash browns and eggs. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. And often breakfast for dinner.

If I was to do it over again, I'd still do it my old way. For the price of a Yeti and how little I'd use a cooler, I can buy a lot of ice and still be money ahead.

I haven't carried an ice chest in years.
We have the large 2-way fridge in the Hawk camper, which holds a surprisingly large amount of of food and drink. No need for an ice chest, which was a change from all our previous camping experiences.
