It's really gonna happen. I was down in Sacto yesterday and talked with Marty regarding my vision and, as I expected from my reading here, he said "Sure, we can do that". He did say that he was thinking of changing the name to All Terrain Custom Campers as I guess so many want something different (I think he was only half joking). Got back today and got the check on its way.
As I mentioned on another thread I'm setting this up as a solo rig so my build will be as follows:
Heater/propane in normal spot
Refer on opposite (passenger) side
A flat workspace from refer to front of camper just under window height
Prewire solar
Plus the usual incidentals, fan, screen door, etc.
This winter I'll build in a real sofa/love seat on drivers side. I want to be able to kick back in bad weather and look out the window. I'll plumb in a gas quick connect for the removable 2 burner from my tent trailer and probably use the removable 5 gal water tank as well. I'm thinking about putting in a small sink that would drain to a quick connect on the lower rear passenger side of the camper. As with all projects, who knows where it will end up.
I know this is a not-for-everyone design but it fits (or will by Spring) my needs perfectly. It was a pleasure working with Marty and the crew. Tentative delivery Aug. 28 so no pictures until then.
