On the inside on the camper what is the distance from front of the camper to the propane storage box? Also how deep are the stock countertops?

I should mention I'm under the impression the propane storage box is located under the stove, correct?

No one has a tape measure handy here? :p Let me know if the dimension I was looking for is unclear.

Each model is different; different years of the same model are different.

I would be happy to measure mine, except I cut the original cabinets and counter tops up long ago.

I do recall that my LP box had a gewfy drawer on top and the cook top was to the left of the LP box, over the potable water tank. (I have a 2000 Hawk.)

I Don't Have An Eagle

I've got a Granby so I can't give you the measurment. But, tell us what you are trying to accomplish, do you want the measurment from the inside or out.We need more info.

I've gathered from photo's and such that in a normal configuration there is a propane box housing the propane tank located in the cabinet (looks to be under the stove). I'm wondering what the dimension on the inside of the camper is from the front wall of the camper to the edge of this box that faces the front wall. IE if you cut down the cabinet length with out moving the propane box (forget about the water tank for now) how far back could you move it till it was right up against the box, and thus how much of a gap would be left between the side of the cabinet and front of the truck?

Or if I'm off on the assumption on where the propane box in a stock eagle configuration that has a fridge in it let me know.

...erm, I *think* you are wanting to move the propane box toward the front of the camper, like it's a 'portable hole'. You cannot do that, if that's your intention, because you must respect the integrity of the welded aluminum frame.

Meanwhile, have a *good* look at the Four Wheel Camper website; there's lots of good information available to the patient, careful reader...

Not trying to move it at all. I want to know where its located and how much room is between it and the inside wall of the camper, I'm only wondering about the possibility of reworking the cabinets to create as big of a space as possible between the cabinets and front of the truck without moving the propane tank.

I've been digging all through the four wheel website and here looking at different things.:thumb:

In my truck there was only a 1/2" sheet of plywood on the outside of the box. You can take the drawer out and look in there with a flashlight to get an idea.

I don't have a camper to look at that's why I'm asking the question, I'm brain storming about possible interior ideas while I'm looking for a camper and trying to decide which size for sure.

However we're not on the same page of what I'm asking. For starters I'm under the assumption on a stock eagle with a fridge the propane box is roughly located under the stove (If I'm wrong here someone correct me). Below is a picture from cabezon23's cabinet (obviously a different model of camper but gets the point across) that show's what I'm asking. How far is it from the inside of the cab end of the camper to the edge of the propane box? (Or if they're not actually configured like this someone clear that up for me).
