Well, the kids have decided that Death Valley is not that bad since they want to go back for our July trip. Last year it was only 115 in the valley but a bit cooler in the higher elevations. I posted my Q and A from last year in this thread, thanks STEW!:

What are the most current camping/road condition at Wild Rose, Thorndike and Mahogany Flat that you know of? I will, of course, fill up on water at Wild Rose! I have my new 4x4, but will it fit at MF or just Thorndike? By the way we will only be camping above 7000 feet with at least 22 gallons of water so no worries there.
