Is this compatible with the dongle you mentioned? I hate to tear apart the cabinet to see.
I'm not sure. The thread I linked above is where I learned the info. You might DM the user who wrote about the compatibility.

Does it seem like I will have heat issues?thx for posting. keep an eye on ventilation. i found the batt compartment can get warm if not enough ventilation.
I’ll have to check into that, the Orion XS doesn’t have any heat sink like the previous versions.the computer fan is a good idea. I added a 45*C thermistor in series to switch it on if it gets too hot. The thermistor just dangles down between the heat sink fins.
It's not compatible with the dongle because the physical display and the dongle use the same data port. However, no need to tear the cabinet apart. Is this compatible with the dongle you mentioned? I hate to tear apart the cabinet to see.
It’s been working great! Thanks for the tip! It's not compatible with the dongle because the physical display and the dongle use the same data port. However, no need to tear the cabinet apart.
The dongle is MUCH more useful than the physical display.
Depending on the surface I've had good luck with these also https://www.amazon.com/s?k=stick+on...ick+on+cable+clamp,tools,216&ref=nb_sb_noss_1One suggestion is to acquire some wiring clamps to tie the various wires to the board to keep wires from being pulled off their connectors. One type(of many types) is like these. Choose sizes appropriate for the wire sizes you have used.
