Any problem with leaning an extension ladder up against the roof when camper is popped up? I would pad the ladder to avoid scratches and keep it as vertical as possibly to minimize side force on the roof. My plan is to use a collapsible ladder for snow removal. I have been standing on the top step of a short A-frame ladder which is not safe.

Thanks
Mike

I have the same question, I really like the collapsing ladders and they are as secure, or more so than most step type folding ladders.

Thanks

Rock.

There is no problem leaning an extension ladder against your truck or anywhere else; I use them all the time when using the canoe on trips. The 8 foot ones collapse small and fit nicely in the wheelwell.

Do you lean it up against the top aluminum edge of the roof? I need to get up high for snow removal.

I lean it everywhere including the glass door on the camper. The weight on the ladder is taken up by the ground, not the top contact points on the ladder.
