I know this was discussed in an earlier post but for the life of me I can find it. I'm finally getting around to installing the rear eybolts in the Dodge And can't recall if they should mounted forward or aft of the camper eyes. Help!

With a little information, he should be able to get you the correct measurements.

For what it's worth...

I placed the truck mounted the eye bolts as follows: all eye bolts are a few inches wider that the camper's eye bolts (that is a few inches closer to the outside if the bed). The front eye bolts on the truck are a few inches forward of the camper's and the rear eye bolts are a few inches backwards of the camper's. That way all the eye bolt's have stress toward the center of mass of the camper (and the stress is applied against the other 3 eye bolts) . I don't know if this matters, but in my minds eye, this seems to be the most staple/reliable configuration.

In doing the / \ method (as Edo did) instead of the \ \ method (that I did).
(that is, back angling back and front angling front vs. both angling front) you prevent the a$$ of the camper from wanting to jump. This is a problem I am encountering, not good.

good luck Jay

TT & aEd per Stan's suggestion I just called Chicali and he confirmed what you guys said. Thanks for the input.
