seems kind of simple now but was looking for simple way to store fishing poles in camper without laying them on top of things while rolling down road, ran across a couple of pole holders that work nice undr the extension for my top bunk on Keystone, usally leave it up any how because can view into camper thru cab of truck while going down road, and with rods remove it still folds down.

pole holders

I have also seen those same type of holders mounted to the walls to hold poles. Another idea is a piece of PVC tube with ends screwed on and mounted on the roof. There have been a lot of ideas on this one over the years.

Looks like yours worked out great.

My solution to rod storage; I can get 7' rods into the tube and it's easy
access.
