Ford truck bed change from 2008 - 2012

I was the middle part of a pick up truck sandwich a couple of days ago. I was lucky not have the Hawk on the truck. Other than a sore neck and back. I'll be fine in a couple of weeks. The truck, not so much. I won't know till Tue., but I'm pretty sure it will be a total.

So, here's the question. Will a 09 Hawk that was built for an 08 3/4 ton Ford truck fit on a 2012 3/4 ton ford truck? I talked to 4 wheel and they think it will fit but couldn't / wouldn't say for sure. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks!

I think it should be just fine.

I don't think Ford has made any major changes to the 2012 Ford F-250 trucks.

Thanks Stan. I haven't made a move yet. I may have been a bit optimistic thinking a couple of weeks. Turns out a F550 towing a air compressor will win agains an empty F250. Recovery will be a slower process than I hoped for. Climbing in and out, not to mention loading and securing will have to wait for a while. I think the hawk may spend the rest of the year sitting on her storage trailer. Hopefully the 2013's will be the same and I'll be back out there with you all.
