Here is one of the mods I am working on my new to me 2017 Hawk. I purchased it from Sean Dempsey at Go-Anywhere FWC. We live in south west Florida and enjoy the state/county parks that we have around Florida. We need air conditioning when camping here in the summer when we have shore power or a generator. We have been using an Engel 60 liter fridge freezer that is set up in the cab of our Power Wagon and will continue to do so.

I decided to remove the Isotherm fridge and install a 10000 BTU Toshiba ac in the existing hole. Since it is already vented it was perfect for our situation. I fabricated a small drip tray with a drain tube that I can hook a hose up to do keep it from dripping on the truck. I then used PVC shower pan liner and created a waterproof tub that drains to the drain I installed.

I will create some additional storage above the ac when I get a chance and find a stain that will match the baltic birch panel I added.

I think this is going to work out great!

Might need to add some fans to help blow out the hot air since the AC isn't flush with that vent but see how it runs as is. :)

I may have to do that but there is a good amount of airflow coming out the bottom vent, time will tell when it gets hotter. I left the 12 volt wires that were installed for the fridge.
