erod,

That is a nice combo. I'm wondering if that is an ATC, with the all white siding it sure has the same look. Hard to tell without stickers showing.

I think it is a FWC because ATC do not use those bigger back flood lights. But you are right, traveling down the road at times it is hard to know if they are a FWC or a ATC model.

I just went out to the garage and the FWC has a colored pannel on the siding on three sides....hmm...it could be a ATC.

I think you moved to the right neighborhood

That looks like a good place to live, what with another FWC or ATC there, or at least visiting. To bad you didn't meet the owner.

Fwc??

That is a FWC. The curtains give it away and the trim around the roof also tells that is not one of ours. Probably ordered without a colored stripe originally. I would also guess that it was on a 5' bed originally because the back of the camper has the skin on it that we normally used to put on if the camper was out on the tailgate.

Yep, that is a four wheel camper for sure.

It looks like a 2003 or 2004, we used blue curtains for awhile, but now we are using the tan.

It also has the square front window, so it is not super new.

The louvered window on the side means it is newer as well (2002, or newer).

We sometimes skin the back / rear campers base a little in most cases for the smaller trucks, so it was probably built for that truck.

Maybe 1x a year we would build camper with no stripes on the sides (customer request kinda of thing), but we are not doing that anymore.

I think Tom wants to keep the FWC's & ATC's looking different from each other.

:)

Me too...... Someday.....

What I really like about the photos is the idea of leaving the tailgate on as a platform for holding extra fuel cans. I always leave mine off with the camper because having the tailgate get peppered with gravel & rocks on the trail didn't sound too good.

But if I only put it on for longer trips where extra fuel would be needed, I could probably live with the possibility of it getting hammered. Plus it's just sitting in storage now anyway.....Or maybe buy an extra tailgate just for this purpose. I see 'em on ebay and craigslist occasionally for under $100....hmmmmm......

Line-X, Rhino Line or other

If you get a spare tail gate, you might consider having the back side coated with a spray on truck liner to protect it from gravel, etc. while traveling dirt roads. I don't think I would do that to my only tailgate in case I wanted to sell the truck later, but heck, a beat up spare that needs a coat of paint anyway, why not?
