Hey guys, new to the forum - I apologize if this question has already been asked.

I recently picked up this older hawk in the pic attached. The roof overhang has a little damage and I'm curious what the best way to repair this is?

Wondering if there's some sort of rubber material I can cut to fit or something? Let me know your thoughts

Hey there, Welcome to WTW.

Take your mattress out and check the condition on the top and edges. If there’s any rot, I believe you should replace the cab over board. There are threads here that document that work.

If there’s no rot, (top or bottom) I’d clean it off, make sure the wood is dry, then coat it with sealant followed by good quality paint. Penetrating epoxy would be my choice of sealant. Match the paint to that on the floor pack.

Great suggestion. Thank you very much.
