I returned to Fort Sagebrush today, after a productive visit with ATC, and a wonderful visit with the ski3pins. Thank you Julie and Monte!

The round trip was 1368 miles door to door, all at traffic speed when in the rat race, and more or less posted speed when not in survival mode. Big Earl (F350 CC L surprised me with a 20.6 mpg average for the entire trip.

1368 miles/20.6 mpg=66.4 gallons…

I am amazed that a diesel truck that big can give that kind of performance.
