Just saw this so not sure where to post but it doesn't sound good. Can't imagine being in a hot spring this time of year with all the hot weather out west.

Info on - Naegleria fowleri from the CDC

It's a very sad story. Many hot springs have notices to never put your head in the water because of the amoeba danger.

"Brain-eating amoeba" sounds bad.
(maybe even worse than "flesh-eating bacteria")
