Heavyweight Popup Camper

Many desire to have more capability than our lightweight FWC/ATC campers can deliver. Additional storage, roof jacking systems, better electronics, more insulation, and other improvements are regular subjects of discussion. For pure gadget addicts there is little hope. On the other hand, some within our group are becoming older and have a real need for extra comfort. Perhaps they wish to live more weeks of the year in their campers, not in plush RV campgrounds but in remote areas. There are solutions, including but not limited to heavyweight popup campers.

Attached is a picture of the classic heavyweight popup camper, the Alaskan. All who own and use FWC/ATC campers will have immediate appreciation for the Alaskan.

I'm buying one in two weeks. Bought a Dodge 3500 4x4 to haul it on, putting a aluminum flat bed on the Dodge. And getting a 10' cabover Alaskan to put on. will post pics when I get it all together.
