crank nightmares!!
the one that came with the camper, the one I replaced it with and the one I hacked together out of desperation. Original got broken teeth, the replacement folded like a dollar store lawn chair and so did the replacement for the replacement!!
ended up ditching the collar, jamming the gear into the shaft, then squeezing the dog doodoo out of it in a vise.
is it really that dumb if it just works?
I wont lie im thinking about just chucking up the gear in my milwaukee impact and going full send. LOL

Something to consider when using a drill on mechanisms like the lift and scissor jacks… it’s real easy to jam the threads, and very difficult to get them free again. I did that on a travel trailer with the jack at full extension.

And It is real important if your drill has a speed adjustment or 'torque type' selector to dial it down. It is easy to break a wrist if not careful.
