There’s another satellite locater hitting the market this month. From the description, it sounds like an affordable, capable and very lightweight unit.

HMD makes Nokia phones. My last phone was a Nokia. It was a very disappointing phone in terms of performance of basic smart phone functionality. Not an apples to apples comparison, but if I were in the market, I think I would choose a proven performer.

That does look really cheap. However their coverage is also pretty limited, at least for now - it looks like they cover most of North America and some of Northern Europe. That may be fine for use in a camper, but maybe less appealing if you travel other ways as well.

Edit to add - it is not most of North America, it is just most of Canada and the US, there coverage doesn't extend far into Mexico.
