Hi everyone. I just returned from a trip to Holcomb Valley and the San Gorgonio Wilderness area and thought I' d share some pics. The first one's are of the historic gold country of Holcomb Valley which was once thriving with activity during the Gold Rush of the 1860's. The second set is of the San Gogornio Wilderness Area off of Forest Service trail 2N92 & 2N93. If you like remote camping this area offers some incrediblle views

Thanks for the pics. That's a nice looking truck and camper. Trips like that are what keep me alive during the work week.

Cheers' Mike

Looks like a good time Marc. I couldn't think of a more capable off road rig than that regular cab F350 - looks great!

HERR42.
The dr leveling kit is made by "donahoe racing" and consists of a new set of progressive springs, shocks to match and a new camber alighnment kit. What it essentialy does is level out the truck, gives you two more inches of travel and a much better ride over stock.

I want a new truck

That addition sounds like you have a very capable truck. I want a new truck, but with the house, etc. I really can't justify dropping $30K used or $40K+ new when mine is paid for. Oh well, it still gets me out there, even if I can't tow the Scout behind it.

Marc, sweetest set up on the forum, congrats, well done, and please keep those pics comin'!

Do you mind if I ask you, do you have regular or tow mirrors?

I am going to have a '08 Cougar on a '07 or '08 Tundra Reg Cab Long Box 4x4, and I am having difficulty determining between stock or tow mirrors.

Thank you very much,
Mike

flinchlock, I do NOT have tow mirrows on the Tundra/bobcat. Bobcat is same width. I will take some pics next weekend when I take the jacks off once its on the truck. With the jacks on, visibilty is limited, although not blocked entirely. I think it will be pretty good with jacks off, but I'll let you know.

Marc do you use the truck for heavy work other than the camper? It seems a 1 ton would be more than adequate to handle a FWC/ATC without additional suspension mods.

chnlisle

The camper stays on the truck full time, that is why I went with a 1 Ton. As for the leveling kit it works as I mentioned in a previous post. I like my truck to sit level and not nose down so the leveling kit accomplishes two things.
