I use my camper like most for camping, hunting and fishing. Well I also got it for going to run's, marathons, half marathons, and fun run's and triathlons. My wife loves to do them and I like to take her. Sometimes we stay at the start parking lot with the top down. I sleep in it a lot with the top down, naps and overnight.
I was thinking about it today after I got back from hunting and took a nap. My camper is on full time and I use it a ton.

Both nights solo in Ophir, NV last year I left it down. Didn't want to run the heater due to close proximity of guys in tents and it was cold enough that leaving the top down made it a lot easier to heat with just body heat.

Top down rules for stealth camping. Also helps conserve heat when body heat is enough as mentioned above.

My camper is also permanently mounted. I sleep with the top down 3-4 nights a month maybe more depending on what is going on at work.

Sue & I have had to both slept with the top down when High Winds spring up out in the desert in the middle of the night. It gets a lot more snuggly when we are both sleeping down. I hear the camper will take 50 mph gust, but how do you define 50 from 60 in the middle of the night. Besides, I sleep better not worrying.
