This is a plug to show 110 power and whether the ground is correct.
Other is Photo sensor night light.
Cheap and good to have.

It shows that the circut is grounded correctly. I have seen some at home depot that you just plug into an outlet to see if it is wired correctly. Great to have if you are me and try to rewire anything. Unless I leave the power on while I am doing it and get shocked two or three times, I need something to tell me it is done right.

This kind not only tells you in detail what's wrong, but is good for GFCI outlet testing. Most RVers carry something like this to check that the shore power is correct before plugging in. Find them at DIY stores, Wally, etc.

That is exactly the one that I was thinking about. Great tool if you know just enough to be dangerous to yourself such as I do about electrical work.

That's a great tool, I keep one in my electrical kit for working on the house wiring and checking for correct GFI the both inside and outside circuits.
