While sharing my plans for a camper with some relatives over the holidays, one asked an insteresting question for which I have no idea what the answer is. Since we often camp out in the open, the truck/camper will be the highest thing around. Should a thunderstorm roll in, it would not be unreasonable for the truck/camper to be the target of lighting. I've never heard of anyone getting hurt in such a situation, but I don't know why. Does anyone know why it would be safe? Or not? Happy New Year everyone.
