Is UV protection needed for fabric pop-up?

I just did a couple of applications of Protectant 303 to the soft wall fabric of my Phoenix camper. Just wondering if anyone else does this sort of thing. For those not familiar with Protectant 303, it is similar to Armoral but a lot better and more expensive. It gives very good UV protection and prevents cracking/drying out of leather, vinyl, clear and coloured plastic, rubber, and fiberglass.

DanoT,
I use it as do many others here. I know that it is recommended specifically by FWC/ATC.

Pretty much if its not metal, it gets 303.

The label on my bottle of 303 says it is good to use on car wheels to help keep brake dust from sticking.

Vinyl, plastic, rubber plus anything that falls into that "I'm not sure what this is" category. Although, even 303 wasn't able to save my hella light covers. They just cracked anyway. The lightforce covers still look like new.
