Jacking up the truck

I once posted a question about jacking up my truck to change a tire or fix a flat on another forum and folks that responded assured me the stock ford Jack would work. I have an F350 and a Hallmark camper. When it’s loaded , it’s heavy. Yesterday I decided I better try it out. Maybe I didn’t try hard enough but that wimpy little thing sure did mot seem adequate. So my question for folks here is, what do you all use to lift your loaded truck?

i bought a surplus hummer jack, and a powerful 18v drill to run it with. Lifts the rig just fine (and yes, I have had to use it!)

In theory, the factory jack should be able to lift the vehicle at max gross weight, but I agree it is a bit sketchy.

At home I use a 3-ton floor jack and that works great. For field repairs I carry a 4-ton bottle jack and use it together with the factory jack.

I carry a compact 1 1/2 ton floor jack. I think it's called Black Kat from Walmart.
Back in 2012 when I bought the Tundra and moved the ATC Bobcat from the Ford Ranger.
I have yet to actually use it to change a tire.I also carry a piece of 2/8 to place the jack on
when not on hard pavement and some short pieces of 4x4 to take up some space between
the jack and the axle. Using the 4x4 blocks lets me shorten the lift of the jack.I only lift the truck
a few inches between the tire and road surface. No need to go higher then needed.

I just sent one of those jacks back. I used it to lift the truck but then, following instructions, it would not let the truck back down. I tried repeatedly following instructions. I finally put the truck in 4Wd and drove off the Jack.
